I'm Courtney and the founder of A Helping Hand HR. I grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated in May 2005 from Radford University with a bachelor’s in criminal justice and psychology. In November 2007, I married my husband Michael, a Portsmouth Firefighter. In 2008, I started A Helping Hand HR which was my first "baby" until July 2010 when Ethan was born! I am very family oriented and promise to show you and your family the same love and care I show my own.

My name is Danielle and I was born and raised in Virginia Beach. I have always worked in positions that involved helping others. Recently hired as the manager of A Helping Hand HR has been very exciting! I am also very involved in my church and play violin in the church band. Music is my passion in life, as well as children and helping people in any way possible! I am just recently married and very excited for the new ventures in my life. Being a part of this wonderful Helping Hand Family is a true joy!

Hi there! My name is Tina. I am 23 & have lived in Virginia Beach, Va since I was 2 years old. I am currently attending MCI to become an LPN however my education will not stop there as I plan on getting my BSN. I am in the process of becoming a volunteer EMT also. I have been a nanny & babysitter for several years & love children of ALL ages! I hope to give you a hand in your times of need!

Hi! My name is Kristen Kline and my husband and I just moved here a few months ago. Orginally I am from Columbus Ohio (Go Bucks!!). For the past two years I was a teacher English in South Korea. I love children and have worked with them for the past 10 years. I have a BA in Communication and in Spanish. I love being outdoors and being involved in my community and Church. God has blessed me with lots of patience which comes in handy when it comes to loving on children!! I look forward to meeting the wonderful Helping Hands families!

Hi everyone! My name is Caitlyn and I currently resides in Virginia Beach,VA. Just finished Wave Leadership College, and I plan on attending Old Dominion University in May 2012. I am about to be 23 years old. Love going to the beach and hanging out with friends. I attend Wave Church and actively serve in their kids program.

I graduated in June with a M.A. in European Union Policy Studies, which I obtained while living in Florence, Italy for a year. I have lived in Virginia Beach my entire life and have been babysitting since I was fourteen years old, watching kids ranging from a few weeks old to ten years old. I love being active, both physically and mentally. I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, running, walking my dogs and reading. I look forward to meeting your family and providing a helping hand!

I am a fashion merchandising major and have been working with kids for about 5 years. I was a nanny every summer while in high school and love having a good time with them. Hi there. My name is Natalie. I grew up outside of Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Virginia almost a year ago with my family. I have been married for almost 5 years and have two little girls of my own. My oldest, Marissa has Down syndrome so I spend most of my days embracing her extra gift and advocating for special needs. I am currently attending TCC to get my associates and then moving to a University for my bachelors in Elementary Education. I am excited to meet new families and be such a huge part in A Helping Hand.

I have been working with children for over 6 years and really enjoy impacting them in positive ways! I have worked with children of all ages from infants to school aged children and I love spending my time helping children grow and learn!

I am currently attending Hampton University to become a Registered Nurse and afterwards I plan on obtaining my masters degree at EVMS! I have worked with children for over eight years and I have enjoyed ever moment of it. I have a lot experience with multiples and health impaired children, I obtained most of my experience with children working at the youth center on Oceana. I graduate May 2012 with my Masters of Art in Community Agency Counseling from Hampton University. I've worked with children for over 7 years holding different job titles and with all age ranges. I have a passion for youth and the simple smile of a kid brightens my day! I love the outdoors. Working-out, enjoying nature and embracing life! I'm a fun, outgoing, creative person and I cant wait to meet you and the kiddies!

My name is April Myers and I am 20. I was born and raised in Watkinsville, Georgia and I recently moved to Norfolk, Virginia to be with my husband who is in the Navy. I have worked with children since I was 15, where I worked at a child care facility called School Street Gym. I co-managed the after school program at my high school and interned in a first grade classroom. I have always enjoyed working with children and I someday hope to teach in an elementary class room. I would love to meet your family and your children.

I am 23 years old and have been married since June 2009. I am currently attending Bible College with my husband at Wave Church. My husband and I are also teachers assistants at Wave Childrens Learning Center. I work 2 days a week in the Montessori program and 3 days a week doing admin at the front desk. I love working with children, even though I dont currently have any of my own. I receive lots of hands on training working at the Learning Center, and biblical training from attending Wave Leadership College. I love doing hands on activities with kids whether its working on a craft (fine motor skills) or playing outside (large motor skills). I think the best way to have fun is learning through play.
