We
offer 2 different programs to be able to provide you with your
family’s best nanny! You can choose to use A Helping Hand
as the nanny’s employer, paying your weekly invoices to the
company, and in turn, the company pays the nanny. Or you can choose
to employ the nanny on your own, making you able to set your own
hourly or weekly rate for the nanny. Both programs are beneficial
and are designed to best suit all families needing a nanny.
Full-Time or Part-Time Nanny with A Helping Hand:
A Helping Hand can provide your family with a Full-Time or Part-Time
Nanny. The nanny that you choose will exclusively be your family's
nanny. If there is an emergency or your nanny is sick, your family
will be provided with a fill in nanny until the situation is resolved.
You will never be without care. The Nanny not only will take superb
care of your children, but she can also help out with light household
chores pertaining to the children.

Who pays my nanny’s taxes when using A Helping Hand’s
Nanny Service?
A Helping Hand is the Nanny’s employer; therefore we will take
care of paying all appropriate taxes on the nannies, saving you the
hassle and stress of filing extra tax forms, remembering to deduct
money from the nanny’s pay, and having to pay employer taxes.
We will also provide your family with end of the year tax receipts
for you to claim your childcare on your tax returns.
NANNY FINDER PROGRAM:
Our newest program is designed to cater to families who want
a full time or part time nanny, but do not want to commit
to A Helping
Hand’s
rates. This program still has many of the guarantee and benefits
that go with using A Helping Hand’s nannies, but allows the
family to be the nanny’s employer opposed to A Helping
Hand. The rate you would pay her per hour or per week would
be determined
by you and the potential nanny.
We take care of interviewing 20-40 potential nannies for you
family, narrowing down the best few nannies, performing national background
checks, Virginia State Child Protective Services Checks, driving
records, drug testing (if you choose), reference checks, and setting
them up with becoming infant and child CPR and First Aid
certified. Basically, we do all the work for you to find the
best nanny for
your family, allowing you more time with your family.
Our company charges a one time fee of $500 to participate. Your
fee will cover all expenses that we incur while finding your
nanny. A payment of $250 is due in when the Nanny Finder contract
is signed. We will immediately begin the process of finding your
nanny. Once we have found several nannies who meet your requirements,
you can set up a time to meet them. The remainder $250 is due on
or before your first nanny meeting. If you have not found your “perfect
nanny” in the first group of candidates, A Helping Hand HR
will continue the process and bring you 1 – 5 more potential
nannies. Furthermore, if in the first 30 days of hiring your
nanny, you find they are not a fit for you and your family,
we will start
the search again at no additional cost! We will find your ideal
nanny; it is our guarantee to you.
We ask that you allow 2-3 weeks for us to narrow down the best candidates.
The time you will save in having us do all the work for you is priceless
when you can spend more time with your family. Let us do all the
work, and we will bring you the best nanny for your family!
If given a 48 hour notice, we can guarantee that your nanny will
be replaced with A Helping Hand babysitter if your nanny calls in
sick. With a two week notice, we can guarantee that we can provide
you with a fill in nanny for a requested time frame while she is
on vacation or Personal leave of absence.
If you choose the Nanny Finder Program, your family becomes
the nanny’s
employer opposed to A Helping Hand. When you file your taxes
at the end of the year, you will fill in the portion for the
compensation
you paid your nanny or any other in home care. Paying taxes,
wages, etc will be between your family and your chosen nanny.
However,
when
you use A Helping Hand HR for babysitting or fill in services,
you will pay the company the going rate at the time of service.
We will
then pay the babysitter through a company paycheck along with
any associated taxes etc. At the end of the year you may request
a
tax statement for the amount you paid to A Helping Hand HR.
